Amorim was speaking after Monday night’s 2-0 defeat at home to Newcastle United. It was United’s third consecutive loss in the Premier League. However, following this defeat, Amorim’s men are only seven points above the drop-zone at the halfway point of the season. “I think that it [relegation] is a possibility and we have to be clear with our fans.   AFRIC TRENDS  Samuel Chukwueze is expected to be sidelined for at least one month as a result of injury, DAILY POST reports. Chukwueze sustained the injury in AC Milan’s 1-1 draw against AS Roma last weekend. The 25-year-old was stretchered off the pitch in the 61st minute of the encounter. The winger is expected to miss the Superscoppa Italiana clash with Juventus in Riyadh on January 3. AC Milan have been battling with injuries in recent weeks with a number of their top stars including Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah, Noah Okafor and Alessandro Florenzi all sidelined.   AFRIC TRENDS  Former Arsenal player Adrian Clarke has urged the Gunners to sign West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus to replace the injured Bukayo Saka in the January transfer window. Saka is currently recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained a few days ago. The England international will be out of action for the next few months. However, Clarke believes Kudus would be a “perfect replacement” for Saka in Mikel Arteta’s squad. “Mohammed Kudus is a player that Arsenal have had a long-term interest in,” Clarke told talkSPORT. “He is a perfect Bukayo Saka replacement who can also do a job up front. “Wonderful traveler with the ball at his feet.
