Rooney sacked as manager of Plymouth

Plymouth Argyle have sacked Wayne Rooney as their head coach.


The club currently sit bottom of the Championship following a dreadful run of form.


Rooney’s exit was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Wednesday morning.



Romano wrote on X: “Official: Wayne Rooney leaves Plymouth Argyle with immediate effect.


“Club confirms mutual decision after only one win in 14 games since joining the club.

  AFRIC TRENDS  Former Arsenal player Adrian Clarke has urged the Gunners to sign West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus to replace the injured Bukayo Saka in the January transfer window. Saka is currently recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained a few days ago. The England international will be out of action for the next few months.
