SportSerie A: Chukwueze out for one month with injury

Samuel Chukwueze is expected to be sidelined for at least one month as a result of injury, DAILY POST reports.


Chukwueze sustained the injury in AC Milan’s 1-1 draw against AS Roma last weekend.


The 25-year-old was stretchered off the pitch in the 61st minute of the encounter.


The winger is expected to miss the Superscoppa Italiana clash with Juventus in Riyadh on January 3.


AC Milan have been battling with injuries in recent weeks with a number of their top stars including Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah, Noah Okafor and Alessandro Florenzi all sidelined.


The Rooseneri appointed Sergio Conceicao as their new head coach on Monday.

Saka is currently recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained a few days ago. The England international will be out of action for the next few months.
